University of Balochistan, the biggest university of Balochistan situated at Sariab road Quetta, having the area of 200 acres. The university established in June 1970 after the end of " One Unit". Now-a-days university has 33 different educational Department, admin building and residential colonies.
In the university there are leading departments like Biological studies, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Information Technology and Gender Studies etc.
